Personal project for a ice cream shop, the nutty cow, which sells dairy free ice cream using nut alternatives, all home made. the project required a bright and attractive logo with accompanying branding assets including product design for the ice cream tubs and poster design for advertisement. the designs did not need to include a cow as even though ice cream is the product, no milk will be used as an ingredient.
initial sketches for the logo show a script font being used in different ways as to find a suitable arrangement that might suite the requirements of being used for the physical display of a shop sign but also digitally with online advertisements.
the chosen logo design, a simple clean script font the is easily readable large or small. the subtle use of a nut shape in the typography displays the ingredients used in the ice cream.
here are the two icons created for the project to be used throughout the print and digital designs to create a easily recognisable background that relates to the product being sold.
